Keep kids inspired with diverse stories and creative activities over the summer with SBL’s Summer Holiday Story and Activity Challenge.

Designed to support the reading programs and book clubs already offered by your local library, we’ve created a list of our favourite online stories celebrating a range of voices, ideas and communities. We connect you with the world of stories through storytelling when you’re away from your library, or when getting to the library is difficult.

By participating in the challenge you’ll be able to tick each story off as you watch them and see how many of our fun Activity Time projects you can complete.

Download your free SBL story and activity checklists here

Our checklist also leaves room for you to add some of your own SBL favourites to see how many you completed before returning to school.

Can you also find the stories on the shelves of your library? Challenge yourself further and borrow the books from your library so you can read the story on your own or be a storyteller for your family.
