In our first ever online PD event for public libraries, Story Box Library (SBL) will focus on familiarising public librarians with our various features and functions. This event welcomes all subscribing and unsubscribing libraries, librarians and colleagues to attend as we encourage you to share this event with your networks.

Presenters will discuss and offer insights into ways in which SBL can be used as a digital resource to engage families and young readers, complementing and enhancing existing programs, connecting library communities far and wide.

When: 6pm AEST, Tuesday 4 May 

Duration: 1.5 hours, including 30-minute Q&A

  • Closed captions & accessibility features
  • Helpful resources
  • Search functionality
  • Playlists
  • Technical features and advancements
  • Staying informed

Following the event, all registrants will be sent a recorded video of the session. For any librarians unable to make it, registration still guarantees the recording will be sent to you the following day.

Attending this PD will provide learning that contributes towards LIANZA professional registration. ALIA Professional Members can reflect on this event to claim PD hours in the ALIA PD Scheme.
